Accompaniment for introducing PKI-based solutions
The National Digital Certification Agency accompanies you in introducing Public Key Infrastructure-based solutions. It offers you all the expertise and know-how of its team to allow you to dematerialize your exchanges in full security and confidence.
The NDCA suggests digital signature solutions based on reliable encryption solutions to enable you to use your signature in full confidence.
Digital signature kits developed by the NDCA will allow the following operations:
- signing documents
- co-signing documents (several signers)
- verifying single signatures and joint signatures
Every user of signature kits is responsible for the security of his private key in accordance with the laws and regulations in force. The user’s responsibility for every digital signature system is mentioned in the following texts:
- Article 21 of Law 2000-83 of 9 August 2000 states that ‘the holder of the certificate is alone responsible for the confidentiality and integrity of the signature creation system he is using, and every use of this system is deemed to be his doing’
- According to Article 6 of the Order of 19 July 2001, ‘the holder of the private key must guarantee conditions of key protection and security against the risk of its being used by a third party, by coding the key and using a password placed in a safe electronic device’
- Article 48 of Law 2000-83 of 9 August 2000 presents the penalties for illegal use of other people’s signature procedures: ‘There is a penalty of six months to two years in prison and a fine of 1,000 to 10,000 dinars, or one of these two penalties, for anyone who makes illegal use of the personal encryption elements related to some other person’s signature.’
