The National Digital Certification Agency organizes, under the patronage of the Ministry of Communication Technologies, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the Agence Intergouvernementale de la Francophonie, PKI Tunisia 2005, the African and Arab Regional Conference on Electronic Transaction Security, Digital Signature and PKI, from the 20 to 22 june 2005 at the Renaissance Tunis Hotel.

This conference, organised in preparation for the World Summit on Information Society Tunis 2005, deals with digital certification, digital signature and its regional and international deployment. The event, conducted by international figures, experts and researchers, will be the occasion to exchange on the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) technology development worldwide, its legal framework and PKI solutions. Examples of PKI application in Tunisia like e-commerce, e-government and e-finance will be emphasised. Finally, the issues of e-commerce and PKI will be discussed in order to propose recommendations for the WSIS Tunis 2005.
